Susan's cape was KNITTED! A tight rib knit - at one point when she bends over you can see the ribs stretching across her shoulder!
And my observation was corroborated by the other known knitter in our group of friends, so it wasn't just my imagination.
Gee. I think I'll have to go see it again, just to make sure... :-D
