It's that time of the year where I rant about all the work to be done... as usual, then...
Reading required for:
-lectures (that's beside the point!)
- Developmental psychology seminars (3 books plus relevant papers)
- Art theory lecture/seminar (required reading)
NOT TO MENTION that I have a miniproject meeting this week for which I may have to do more reading afterwards.
I'm so unhappy with this boatload that I may well shoot something.
In other news: drove in roundabouts today. I hate roundabouts. It's like the collective stupidity of people chooses precisely the worst location to come up to the surface. And for new drivers they're hell; nobody wants to let you pass. It's awful.
-The boy isn't responding to instant messages. Hm? Confuzzlment. He's probably asleep though, knowing him...
-OMG LIE TO ME 2X02 WAS GREAT! I mean, Cal is quite believable as a protective father, and I like that he really goes to that length while remaining the watcher on the side. It's an interesting character depth that a character like House, for example, who's so similar to Lightman, probably lacks. House likes to get involved; we saw in this episode that Cal, while trying to make matters better, refuses to actually take sides except where concerning his own daughter. And that is very interesting. Textbook evolutionary behaviour.
Okay enough ranting.
Oh and this week I'll be going to Oxford for a night for something called Intrusion. Should be pretty good!
