[Games] I'm obsessed with Tales of Vesperia...
Warning: Spoilers, fandom ranting, and yaoi-fangirl ranting.
XD ... I'm on my offical 3rd playthrough of Tales of Vesperia... Only, I bought teh PS3 version so technically it only counts as the first playthrough. It's weird playing a game in Japanese when I have a version in English.. The PS3 version is just SOO much more awesome...
...and if has Flynn in it...and he can join your party... So yeah, I'm okay with not know what they are saying some of the time becasue I can just put word in Yuri and Flynn's mouths so they can be gay and all. Namco cannot deny this since they screwed up and have it where Yuri can wear the wedding veil. Yes, a man (who looks kinda like a chick anyway and has a very feminine name) wearing a wedding veil... and Yuri has a habbit of bringing Flynn's name into everything; and if not him someone else says his name and all..
...and then they all ask Yuri about Flynn. "Oh so he's your firend", "you really trust (believe in) him" and all the other random conversations they have about him.
...Well, I guess that just makes Yuri the "wife". After all, we all know Flynn can't cook; he FAILS miserably at the cooking contest.
Anyway, off the whole Flynn/Yuri topic, the PS3 version is a lot clearer, visually, than my xbox360 copy. Yup so Ps3>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Atari>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Dreamcast>>>>Wii>>>>>>>>>>>Xbox360....:)
...I was so incredibly amazed by the prettiness of the graphics. After all I had just beaten the game for the 2nd time on my 360.
Some of new stuff is cool, and I don't mind the new character. They made her have a small, un-talked about point. She (Patty) is now the one who captains your ship, whose previous captain stayed in 360 version.
...They added some bosses, optional and forced, and made a few un-fight-able characters fight-able. I want to fight Clint since I want to see if he's worth his salt (oh mighty leader of Hunting Blades, whose minions tried to kick my ass).
Oh, and here is the part I'm waiting for: I can't wait to have the CAMEO COSTUMES~ *Squee* Rita as Mao= awesome; Flynn as Cless = LMAO....; Patty as Anise = wtf do you torture me, I hate Anise!!!!! (I PICK HER TO DIE; DIE ANISE! DIE!); Judith as Rutee = YEAH, Rutee is awesome~; Yuri as Judas = wtf...why the Judas costume why not the Leon version, eh; ... and the others I can't remember right now either because my brain is in overload or I just don't care.... Oh, wait, I forgot the obvious one: chibi-Lloyd Karol as Lloyd = well, this means they should have put Flynn as Guy since Flynn is obviously Guy's replica and all. >3
Anyway, ToV = Awesome. I love it all, in its entirety; every character minus a few of the villians~
And Yeager is 100000x amusing since he speaks ENGLISH (instead of the German[?] he used on the 360 US release), lol lol lol lol~ Funny and creepy at the same time; lets me understand part of the game though, lol.
Now, if only NamcoBandai would quit being stupid and release the game in English so I can buy it again. And let it be where we can load out jap playthrough newgame+ files.. >3 Cause, I want to 100% this game.
