[Cosplay] Cosplay 09 Update ..COMPLETED
I'm DONE! So, I FINALLY finished my cosplay... ^^ I'm happy, so happy that I'm took pre-con pix.. :3
As you well know...I'm cosplay as 2 ppl this year: Jade Curtis (from Tales of the Abyss) and Grell Sutcliff (from Kuroshitsuji)... ^^ both were extensive (for me) in their own ways....
Since I've been working on Jade longer, I'll start with him...
...The major part of Jade's cosplay was 2 things: one was easy--red contacts--and the other was his stupid gayass jacket....
...After all, his jacket defies all logic of natural button sewing... (stupid front)...but I got it all done in the end...
...and I hadn't even planned on making a prop of his weapons (since he has it fonically attached to his arm and stuff I can just say i had it put away.. :P) but my mom had the idea to do it so I was okay with it...... ANYWAY, we made a wooden prop of his first spear in the game--the one also shown in the anime adaption--and it turned out good...

Honestly, I think I did a great job at replicating his outfit (yes, pacman belt included...gawd..I cant get that thing out of my head... :p) and I LOVE those contacts even though they kinda make everything look pink to me (lol) but thats okay... ^^
Anyway~ Jade Curtis TotAbyss 100% and I'm PROUD of it~ <3 I love Jade, after all~ ;3

NOW, we go to the freak...er ...I mean Grell Stucliff from Kuroshitsuji~ Now...his outfit was easy; it was the PROP(s) that had to be made...and had to purchase that (awesome) wig~ But it was relatively simple other than that...
Now, I have 2 props: the chainsaw (based on the anime design..I like it..it's fancy)...and my Sebas-chan Ragdoll (based upon a manga illustration of Grell, which is also my wallpaper to my computer and laptop right now.. :P)...
...The chainsaw is made of WOOD (plywood 2x4's and wooden dowels...and foamies for the designs)... Meh dad cut out the pieces and I painted them, pretty much... :P I woudl have done it myself, but I doubt he'd let me use his tools without telling me I'm doing it wrong... :P
Anyway, I don't think I can say anything that I haven't already said previously about it in this journal~ So here are some pix:

ANYWAYz, that's my Grell Cosplay at 100% and I'm happy with it~ and I love meh props~
