Dash it all, Mickey!

I bought a couple of Disney comics from the 1980s off eBay, from a UK seller. Mickey, Donald, and Goofy are always funny, but here the icing on that cake is that the comics were obviously written by Britons, and therefore all the characters use British slang. "You boys aren't watching that RUBBISHY game show again, are you?" Donald demands of his nephews. He then goes to "spend a few quid" on "something posh."

The best part is when the Beagle Boys (the conmen who sometimes plagued Scrooge McDuck in Duck Tales) go running around trying to steal petrol. I had not truly lived until I saw one of the Beagle Boys complain that he'd been "pipped at the post."

I may scan these in at some point. They're pretty much hilarious in every conceivable way.

Also, there is a female Woodchucks Scout leader named Honeylips. HONEYLIPS.
