Merry Christmas, Flist!
As is the case with many parts of the country, it's freezing cold here where I am. The high today was a grand 27 degrees Farenheit (about minus 2 Celsius to my non US friends). Brrrr!
Here are a few pictures of my Christmas tree as promised. Sorry it took me so long to post them. The quality of the pics isn't very good since I can't take closeups for squat, not to mention it's difficult to see the silver in the tree because of all the reflection. Hmph.
Can you find Severus and his cauldron up there?
Here's a slightly closer look at the tree. Do you see him yet? ;)
Look at these two fellas duelling! It'd have been way cooler had I changed the bulb by Draco to green though.
I simply HAD to get this ornament the moment I saw it at Hobby Lobby. It looks remarkably like Hogwarts doesn't it?
_lady_narcissa_ is probably the only one who will appreciate this last picture. The hubby stuck fiber optic cables through the snake's eyes so they blinked along with the tree lights. It's rather neat, but in a freaky sort of way lol.
I tried to snap the picture just as Narcissa's eyes lit up, and this was the clearest of the bunch.
