Read in today's paper that Ms. Rowling is preggers with her third child. Delighted as I am for her I can't help but wonder if this will interfere with the release of book 6. Here's what my paper has to say (taken from Ms. R's website I believe):

....book six remains well on track and, fingers crossed of course, I don't foresee any baby-related ( Read more... )

I was just having a conversation about this last night with pandora_nervosa. We both decided that if we'd been JKR we would have waited until the books were completed, then had the babies when we could sit back and relax a bit without the added pressure.

...However, we're not her. ;)

Oh, and I hope you don't mind that I friended you.

Waiting would have been the sensible thing to do wouldn't it? I suppose she wanted to complete her family because she's nearing 40.

Not at all! I've been wanting to friend you because I love reading your responses on Kellie's journal. They are hilarious! :) A warning-I lead a very boring life, so you might find yourself asleep at the keyboard more often than not, lol.

I suppose that she did. And it does make a difference. Considering that she still has another book and a half (or so) to write, it could be another 2-3 years before she's completed them.

But, you now, I'm selfish... lol

Ah, thanks - you should have just friended me and left a note saying you were K's friend. ;)

Pffftt! I seriously doubt that. ;) I've seen people with truly boring lives - I don't think you'll qualify. lol

Hee... so am I! I felt kind of bad being concerned about book 6 when Ms. R is obviously so happy.

I thought about it, but didn't want you to think I was some psycho woman come out of the woodworks to stalk you! LMAO

Aww, thanks for the kind words! :)

Ah, geez, I know... I mean, after all, it's just a book and that's a *baby.* Obviously the baby is much more important. But that doesn't mean I still won't be selfish and whine "But what about the booooooks?" lol

LOL - Nope, I wouldn't have thought that. One person on my f-list found my journal by using the "random search" function and friended me. I usually friend everybody back, I've always taken it as a compliment that they want to read my journal. And I figure that it's only fair that I get to read theirs. ;)
