Things CAN only get better...
Life’s about to change, and I have only one reaction: it’s about bloody time.
Things are drawing to a close, other things are shifting, and new things are beginning to take shape in their place. New plans, new goals and long-held dreams and ambitions are so very close to being realised.
These are the Nothing Days, where I am painfully close to starting new, wonderful things, yet still shackled by the old.
Come 3rd May I’m off the leash and able to do more. And then in June, more again. And July... and so on.
I'm even considering the possibility of taking the kids on holiday, something that's not been possible for far too many years.
Times are about to get better.They just are. They have to. I've waited such a long time.
If I catch anyone even looking at the rug and considering giving it a tug, I shall cut your bloody hands off.
