Jedi in the Rebellion era? Dork. :P All but TWO were killed, those two being Yoda and Obi-wan. That's why training Luke was so vitally important. So...I would've expected NO Jedi PCs. Still, I guess it's possible for some force-sensitive individuals to follow the Jedi tradition in secret, but that would be difficult considering it's so illegal that the opportunity to learn of it would be hard to come by.

I see you're using 3rd Edition, not Saga. Saga is more streamlined, and the classes are a lot better (talent trees FTW!), but they removed the vitality point system, which screws up Force powers...oh, well.

Oh, oh, and...! ChatZilla is an IRC client built right into Firefox. :)

Zaine:
-It depends on what books you read. Movie-canon, Yoda and Obi-Wan were the only Jedi still alive. In the books, there's still Jedi in hiding.
-You want to buy me the Saga edition books, dear? :)
-Quit whining unless you're going to play! :P

Sure, there's Jedi in hiding, but they're like... either experienced enough to not get caught or just really ridiculously lucky. And there wouldn't be a whole lot of them either...

Yeah. The only other Jedi on ship are like... crap Jedi. Jedi with some somewhat formal training from the Captain.

Brat. :P Well, I have this pdf... I still prefer 3rd Ed, because I like the Vitality/Wound system, and the way Force skills are tied into it.

I kind of wanted to play a Jedi, but...in an era when the Jedi Council actually exists, and there are clear Master-Padawan pairs (<3 Old Republic :P). *shrug* The whole "hide your identity" bit is old hat for me *snicker* but I suppose that just means I'd play it well, eh? What do you think? I have a vague Padawan learner concept ready, that I could adapt for Rebellion era...

I would love you to join! We so badly need new people :)
And... Revised Core uses Wound/Vitality, and you use Vitality points to perform Force actions. Is that what you meant??

*hugs* Okay, love, I'll see what I can do. ^_^

Yes, that's exactly what I meant. The "Star Wars RPG Revised Core Rulebook" from WotC is third edition. The first two editions were a d6 game by West End Games. So it's not really the third edition of that particular game, but it's the third official SWRPG.

Saga uses a simple HP system, and force powers are pretty much per-encounter abilities. Kinda sucks.
