So much has improved since moving out and breaking up with the boy.
I finally got a full-time position at the newspaper starting next week. It's only temporary right now.. but that can always change. They're supposed to email me later with confirmation of my payrate... but it can't be any less than $16.97 an hour... at 40 hours a week. Laptop! Here I come!!
I haven't had access to the internet since the move, but one of my housemates is leaving, so I'll be able to hook up my comp in his old spot until I get my laptop. Woot!
Oh! I'm dating a new boy. I met him at the Suicide Girls Prom. I knew who he was from the site and it was really cool to meet him in person. We hooked up a few days after prom for dinner, beer a movie and some fucking HOT crazy sex! LOL. We've been seeing each other a few times a week. He's a writer... which is a lovely change for me. A literate man! That's what I'm talkin' about. He has a column in a weekly paper here and also freelances for a few video game magazines. He gets to play video games all day an write about it! Hooking up with him has been a slap in the face for me. He's going to be 28 next month and the guy has it made! I scheduled for placement testing at City College. I'm getting my ass back in school so I don't have such a lazy mind. I could be doing that, too. Well, maybe not playing video games... but something. He invited me out to a comic convention in San Diego in July. We'll see how things go. July is kinda far off right now, since this is all so new.
Uhm.. anyhoo. I just wanted to update. I'm on my housemates comp and he's back.
