[Accidental voice] 011

[Jenova's voice cuts in abruptly mid-sentence]--take me, lose too much of me, what left is there here? Shells and sycophants, still wandering the confines and will not silence themselves, why? why? This is not right. The knowledge of thousands and millions, eternities and Planets lost in the dark-black-other, so many of them sing in my mind and ( Read more... )

Jenova. [She sounds concerned, but has no idea what to do.]

[Martel gets a rather ragged, high-pitched giggle that sounds very much... not like Jenova]

[Sharper and more concerned now:] Jenova, where are you?

[A short pause and then the voice Martel hears is Jenova's own, if quieter and a little unfocused]

They toy with me. Fools. Eons everlasting and now they rise up as the one, not the many. They are as I am, and only that now. Stupid-foolish-ridiculous not to know.

[a laugh, a little wild, but still clear]

I am still here.

[She'll be heading over to your house. She isn't rude enough to just barge in, though... So she'll be sitting under your window, playing pretty and soothing music with her panpipes.]

[Jen lives on the second door of the 2nd community housing building, so she's close enough to the ground to hear the music, even through a closed window.

Dragging self up, she heads to the window to open it and peer out. She recognizes those panpipes.]

You worried...?

[that is a nice feeling]

[She pauses in her playing.] Of course.

[she's swaying on her feet, so she simply holds out a hand briefly to the elf]

Please. Come.

[and then she simply drops out of sight]

[So she's glancing at the window a moment more, then hurrying into the building, panpipes still in hand. She'll be walking in without knocking, sorry Jenova.]

[You hardly need worry, she's not in any fit state to complain at the moment. Once Martel gets through the door and into the living room where the window is, she'll find Jenova... sitting on the floor, and looking quite dumbfounded at being there.

She looks up when Martel comes in, but doesn't say anything, just staaaaaaaaaares..]

[She steps in, to crouch in front of you. One hand is reaching out to rest gently on your arm, though it's almost hesitant. This is Jenova, after all.]

[That seems to snap her out of it. She blinks, and the lights in her eyes sharpen. She repeats herself.]

I am still here.

Good. For how long? [She's asking if they should expect Jenova to go back into any more freakouts.]

[she blinks again, startled enough into bald truth]

I do not know.
