"I'm a great bowler."
(spoilers for Teen Wolf S1 and S2)
So I finished the first two seasons of Teen Wolf. Season 1 was really adorable, and Season 2 was more serious but also harder to stop watching because it was so suspenseful. Except I did get really bored of "Possession turns Jackson into a reptile" and Allison's evil grandpa after a while. Anyway, I am enjoying it a lot. I like the characters, I like how casually accepting it is of its gay characters, I like watching Isaac and Erica walk around looking extraordinarily gleeful about the mayhem they are on their way to make. It's also interesting that the "family death revenge arc" is going to Allison and not Scott, as per normal rules of fridging. But as much as I like this show it seems like everyone goes through periods of being really dumb, and pretty much nothing makes sense.
An incomplete list of things I do not understand:
Why do Lydia and Jackson find India ink everywhere when they get bitten, why do people who react to the bite hemorrhage India ink, and what does any of this have to do with immunity? And since when can you "catch" immunity by making out with someone?
How is it that Matt goes around convincing everyone that he was murdered as a kid when clearly someone fished him out of that pool even if it was to yell at him? Being clinically dead for like a minute and then resuscitated is not the same as being murdered, right? Or am I missing something?
If the mountain ash wood protects the clinic from supernatural creatures, why can Scott come and go just fine?
Why does the school counselor lady have the coolest and least reassuring demeanor of anyone ever and spend all her free time hanging out with Scott's boss?
How does "South American were-jaguar" translate to "walking snake-monster?" The show doesn't try to explain OR hide that they are making the kanima something completely different than what it is, Stiles even says it's supposed to be a were-jaguar.
Anyway, it looks like the first half of Season 3 is online, but I can't get the website to let me watch it on my phone, boo.
