indie comics sale!
I meant to mention this before and forgot, but Image is having a digital comics sale on Comixology through tomorrow. There are a lot of sort of starter issues for new-ish series on sale for 99 cents. I got The Wicked + The Divine #1 and Supreme: Blue Rose #1, but there's a lot of stuff up there. If you like lady spies, you can get the first five issues of Velvet for five dollars. I read it when the trade came out and I enjoyed it, the art is great and Velvet is basically like a girl version of James Bond. I definitely recommend it, esp. since it's so cheap right now.
