Would you be interested...
Hypothetically, if I were to write a very AU, post-war Harry Potter fic with all original characters and plot, would anyone be interested in being a beta for it? Basically I will be working on this for probably at least a year, because there would be at least five long stories that intertwine with each other to make one big story. Like, I'm thinking approximately 200,000 words, if I do ever finish it. Essentially all I would need the beta for is to make sure that, as an outsider, you could understand the universe on it's own without any prior knowledge of any of the characters, plot and whatnot. My friends and I (that I'm writing it for) are all completely biased and can't read it with fresh eyes because the characters in the AU have been our role play characters for at least six years, so we just know stuff about them, and I want it to read as if the audience has never met them, you know?

I'm going to screen the responses though, should more than one person offer I don't want anyone's feelings hurt if they know who I picked over them or something. And besides, this is only hypothetical at the moment, so I may not even end up needing someone. It's mostly a curiosity thing =)
