Okay so I haven't posted in forever but I have some thangs to tell you about!
Last Saturday (omg was it really that long ago?!)
rajkumari905 came up from Toledo to see me!! Omg she's adorable and we had a lot of great fandomy conversation. And obviously bb D squees and related about how Cookleta will always be number one in our hearts. It just solidified for me that everyone I've met from Cookleta fandom is just so wonderful both online and in person. *hugggg* Love youuuu! ^_^
We saw Prince of Persia, which was... good, but cheesy. But Jake did a good job with the role because I forgot to moon over him being Jake Gyllenhaal and actually got into the character so. Yay. Before that we sped over to Borders to get Archie's book for me because I didn't have it, and I still haven't read it and I don't know if I can bring myself too, but at least I bought it.
TOMORROW I AM SEEING ADAM. LIKE. FOR REALZ, AS A HEADLINER AND NOT AN IDOL SHOW. Squee. Squee. I'm excited, but honestly not as excited as I would have been if I could have saw it like. December. Because as Pri and I discussed, his gimmick kind of gets old and I already roll my eyes at him 60% of the time. If I hear the word "glam" one more time after tomorrow, I may slap him. But I'll still enjoy the hell out of the concert because I still LOVE his music, and voice.
My mom got me a Droid. Which is awesome, except it's fricken insanely expensive and she ALREADY bitched at me about the other phone bill and those were just normal cheapie phones. Now the bill is over $200 and I know that for the next year and a half I'm going to listen to how bad she hates Verizon, her new phone, and me for "forcing" her to get the phones when I knew we didn't have the money. Even though I didn't even ask her for it.
But it does all sorts of fancy shit, so I can pretty much be online anywhere, any time, any place. I mean. It's the internet-addict's dream. It's beautiful. Although, it weighs about 5 pounds and I can't fit it in my bra anymore because it's ENORMOUS. But I feel like that's a small compromise for having the World Wide Web in my pocket.
Now. To figure out how to get my own ringtones on there =)
