Pros and Cons of X JAPAN Concert!!~
So my day began horribly for Sunday of the X Japan concert and I was lacking that certain excitement for the concert all together. But as the concert drew near i started to feel the anticipation you should feel when you're gonna see a hot famous Asian guy singing on a stage ten feet away from you! Yes I was a super fangirl. So Atiana along with myself left our friends to start our journey to the Roseland Ballroom.
So first we hope on the A train and it takes us to god knows where (actually 59th street) and we needed to be at 50th street. so we got on the C train to take it one stop back...that never happened because the C train skipped the 50th street stop as well. WTH!!!??? So we decided to go hop on the 1 train and we MADE SURE this time that we were gonna get to our destination. Yes WE DID!!!
So now we had to find which way was the ballroom so we asked a few people and they sent us the wrong way...again WTH!
Then we asked a cab driver and we finally seen the OMG EPIC line leading to the entrance to the Ballroom. By now we were about and hour late and Atiana wanted to cry. I cheered her up and we walked the line of doom.
Out of boredom we made a few line videos of other fans screaming "X JAPAN!!" WOOO! lol they were great sports. So after being on the line for about 30mins we finally made it inside where we scrambled to find a good spot. We found an alright on in the middle section. YAY~
Great news the X JAPAN concert hadnt started and some other band was playing so yea we just plotted angles for our camera's and what not. Then these guys show up behind us plotting about pushing everyone forward when the concert starts. Atiana was freaking out and we made sure our belongings were secure (little help that did = =)
Finally(after about another 45 mins) X JAPAN comes on stage with the most epic concert opening ever!! Omg it was just that awesome!! ( i think i recorded it O__O) And the first song they sing is Jade! What did the crowd go crazy? YES!! Did we get shoved from the middle of the audience to the 4th row? YES! Freaking A!!!
Not saying it wasnt a bad spot but the journey to get there was such a piss off!!!
So we went through a bunch of songs and i was and wasnt listening at the same time because i was too busy trying to take pics and record at the same time lol
Then everyone leaves off the stage to the left but Toshi he stays and talks to the crowd and Yoshiki and the rest of the group comes back out with a GIANT SQUARE yellow frosted cake and we all sin HAPPY BIRTHDAY to him and then Yoshiki goes on the piano and plays the HAPPY BIRTHDAY melody and we sing it slower. It was sooo freaking cute.>w<
Toshi thanks everyone and the audience and Yoshiki and him agree that the audience will eat cake late and they should sing more music. At this moment every song after that is kinda a blurr. ^^'''
Now we get to Born to be free and we do a break pause kinda thing and Yoshiki talks about Hide and thats hes singing with the band forever and he starts crying while hes saying all of this making the audience cry too ( yes i cried) it was just too sad TT^TT.
Then we continue singing Born to be free and we let the band take a break.
After that idk what happened to Yoshiki he was just all over the place at this point drinking water, covering himself in water, and throwing water bottles in the crowd. LOL to funny. I got soaked and not only was he throwing water Toshi would com out of nowhere with his squirt bottle and catch people good! He got me in the eye!!! LOL I was SOAKED!! xD
Now Mr. Yoshiki goes and does something completely random and unexpected and jumps into the crowd about 3 feet away from me!! The crowd shoved that way to touch him (and i touched his back xp) and in the process my phone must have flew out of my pocket,...oh well....TT^TT
And the way the security put him back on stage was too funny idk how to describe that you had to be there to see it.xDDD
And the fun of the concert continued and Yoshiki was on something because his clothes were off! He was doing this little seductive dance lol and he was jsut OMG!!! lol then he went to his drums and decided to throw his drumsticks!! One flies to my far left and the other within grabbing distance! YES!!~
There was this other Asian girl that caught th tip but i wasnt letting go of that bottom and I kinda knocked Atiana's glasses off and this one guy breaks us up to find Atiana's glasses and the Asian girl lets go of the drumstick and its ALL MINE NOW!!! MUHAHAHAHAH!!! xD I got dirty looks because i didnt play fare but WHO CARES I HAVE YOSHIKI'S DRUMSTICK!!!!!
After that they played a last song and showed off the fans presents to Toshi and then they started taking pics of the fans with their cell phones and personal camera's along with single and groups pics with each other. It was tooo adorable x3
They then gave us a last bow and were gone <3
I freaking love them.
Did i forget to mention the fan service they were giving us?? That you have to see the videos for :D
And now we(Atiana and I) realize we're missing a crap load of stuff and we go looking for it. no luck but i did find Atiana's plushie in the lost and found but thats all. I met some people that helped me look for my phone they were cool. Also I got interviewed by some guy about the concert because I caught Yoshiki's drumstick. Talking in the camera was hard because i was still fangirling but it worked out and after all of this Atiana and I left Roseland ballroom injured and happy (nah we were type pissed) but i did flaunt my drumstick first lol xp
