Hurricanes won't stop me posting
OMFG MTV VMA AWARDS! :DDD Green Day, The Killers, ORLANDO BLOOM (omg <3), Kirsten Dunst (omg <3), Coldplay, Fall Out Boy, My Chemical Romance...!!!
The satellite cut off right as Coldplay started their song and I had a brief moment where I nearly kicked something. It came on after the song ended but the screen was black and the sound was there. It lasted about 15 minutes and I thought I was gonna go blind. Thankfully, it was way after Orli and Kirsten presented the Best Rock Video award (Green Day!) and I had the chance to tape that bit.
You know what Mom came and told me afterwards? She said, "omg that Orlando is really cute! You can have that one with the makeup [Billie Joe Armstrong] I want him!" I bet my eyes popped out of my head. Honestly, I was about to lunge at her and say how NOT FUNNY that is. First, she says she wants Johnny Depp for herself (uh, no!) and now she's trying to take the only other person who I am crazily obsessed with. I don't mind sharing unless you try telling me I don't like them as much and can't have them. I also saw Orli in the background when Ludacris won the Best Rap Video award (why was he so far back off to the side?) so that only made me shriek and scare everyone.
Weren't The Killers effing awesome?! That, next to Green Day, was my favorite performance of the night (that I saw, anyway...*grunt*) They sound so much better live than Fall Out Boy which I was slightly shocked how, erm, terrible they sounded. 'Sugar, We're Going Down' is one of my top five fave songs at the moment, so that was a bit of a disappointment.
WTF, I HAVE NO GREEN DAY ICONS! *shock and awe* Anyone want to point me towards a community or icon journal that makes good ones?

Also: xcheapxflirtx, I saw my first Corpse Bride commercial a while ago and shrieked and told Mom to watch. She looked at me like I was insane and sort of hurried away, heh.
