I try very hard not to live with regrets. I try to "look before I leap" as much as I can. If things don't work out, I try very hard to accept that sometimes, even with the best intentions and planning, shit happens.
- I am very very glad I applied for the job I have, and muchmore so that I asked my boss about working from home.
- I am very glad I signed up for the CSA that I did this year. Yes it is an additional bill each month, but for 100 bucks a month I'm enjoying an amazing assortment of fresh, local, organic veggies. My bag hasn't been less than 25lbs since spring and that makes it an average of about a dollar per lb or less.
- I am glad I pursued the relationships I have. I never would have dreamed that crying on a cabin porch at beltane years ago would have brought me such happiness down the line.
- I am glad that I took the leap of faith and went to school. I may not be working in the field I intended but I have something noone can ever take away from me.
- I am glad I made a commitment to taking better care of myself. My diet change and more exercise is really making changes I can feel.
- I am glad I joined the UUCY. I've met people there that I never would have met otherwise and the connections I'm making and the community I'm now part of is very important to me.
