No FSG for us this year
My daughter has been asked to perform in her school's first ever recital, which is awesome, but it is also the thursday night of FSG week. That coupled with my inability to get the whole week off work, us not being able to get caillie out of school for that week, and other things going on we just think that taking a pass this year is the best way for us to go.
We will be on site for the FSA meeting on saturday but will head home after it is over. I'm super duper proud of my kid, and I'm doing my best to support her any way I can, even when it interferes with other stuff. Its my job as her mom to make sure she has people cheering for her performance to to help her get through her last week of school for the 8th grade... high school starts in the fall for her...
so if you're wondering why we aren't going this year, this is why. Nothing big or dramatic, just us trying to do what's right :)
