Quick update.......

Yep, I'm still alive. Had some computer issues. Namely the power supply went *fftttt*, which necessitated the purchase of a new one.

Anyway, went out last night (Saturday) Jane and I went to Logan to shop for fabric for my munchkin's Halloween costumes. Micaela decided to be Cinderella, for which I bought some dark blue satin and some matching tulle with sparkles in it. I also found her a silver tiara at Hot Topic. Dana wants to be a princess "in pink, Mom!!!", so I bought pink satin and ditto tulle with sparkles. Their costumes aren't going to be identical, but both shiny. Then there's Ehreni. My darling gothbaby. Wants to be a vampiress. I said "A vampire, huh?" "no, mom, vampiress!" Her word. The snot. LOL Anyway, I already have the necessary red and black velvet to make her dress, but I went to Hot Topic looking for fangs for her. The only ones there are 15 bucks and no way am I paying that amount of money for fangs for a 9 year old. I did find her a lovely necklace and a headband that has black flowers on top with skulls in the centers, and a black net veil on it.

Then....oh, then. Well, we went to Panda Express for food........then BORDERS. I love Borders. I could have easily dropped a couple hundred bucks in the medieval history section alone, in like 15 minutes. I refrained, however, and restricted myself to one book...Alison Weir's "The Six Wives of Henry VIII". Yay! Sadly, I've not been barely able to start on it as I had a headache most of the day. But tomorrow! The kids go back to school! Yay! My only problem is that in the introduction she reduces Kathryn Howard to "an empty-headed wanton". First of all....whatever. Second of all.....women were not SUPPOSED to be political or whatever. THIRD of all....Henry was 49, fat and ill when he married her...and she was only 15. I'd be a wanton, too. We'll see.

I'm out. Catch ya later.
