(no subject)
Well my first semester of language training is over. Thank the heavens. My brain was ready to explode. But alas, semester deux starts on the 8th. Only change to this coming semester is well..everything - lol I'm moving from Algonquin College to St. Lawrence College. I'm going from T & Th nights to just T night. The class also starts earlier than at Algonquin which works out good for me. That and 10 minutes from my house vs. 30 minutes. Me likes!
Weekend went good, but was plagued by "illness" so it was not much enjoyed. Stress of exams this past week was probaly what did it. Let us hope that next weekend (3 WHOLE days off) will be better. But I did catch up on my missed Y&R, Mad Men and NCIS. So it was not a complete loss.
Got news that contract was extended till last working day in October. Think I told you that already?!? If not, well looks like I'll be going to another shift or location come Nov. But can't confirm what will happen until closer to Nov. Besides my boss likes to inform me of "HER" plans hours before things are due cause things like this are on a need-to-know basis. And apparently I don't need to know. So, who knows maybe at the end of October she'll tell me I'm extended again.
One of the guys I work with got a new job. He'll be working part time, but make just as much as he's making now working full time. He's going to an employer who isn't facing total financial collapse and we wish him all the best.
Ok, off to watch Ruby on Style TV..
