Socks!
My Sockapalooza socks came in the mail today, all the way from new Zealand! With them came some tasty New Zealand kiwi candy and hand cream, as well as some soft black sock yarn. Pictures are up on my knitting Flickr, http://www.flickr.com/photos/11493159@N05/
The socks fit perfectly, and are soft and cushy. I love them muchly. They were totally worth the wait!
In other news, I've signed up for another swap - this time, Harry Potter themed (I seem to be on a bit of a Harry Potter jag just now). Its the Hogwarts Sock Kit Swap 3, and I'm knitting as a Ravenclaw first year. Signups are open until tomorrow, the 29th, if there are any knitters reading this. Part of the rules for participating is having to post at least once a week - we'll see how that goes.
