Wow
It's been over a year since I've posted to this journal (I don't know if anyone even reads it anymore). I am also suprised that my account didn't get trashed. So I am posting (can you believe it?) I know neither can I. So alot has changed in a year (no we don't have kids) however I no longer work for the BUX. I know weird right? I must say it's sort of liberating to not have to get up at 4 am every day and serve horrible people their coffee and if it's not "just right" they get crazy because apprantly they must control the universe. (wow I had alot of pent up angst about starbucks). So anyway, here's what has changed in the last year. Dumped the starbucks job (woo-hoo no more customer service) gained a job at CCF. As a temp for now (which is actually fine with me because once I'm hired in for good they take blood and eeeeeeeeee :-( needles!) I shouldn't let that stop me from a great permant job though. So I've been moved around a few times I started off doing MyChart in Family Health Centers. (it gets real old real fast when you have so many repeat patients that you don't have anyone else to sign up). that assignment ended and I got moved onto main campus in the Ombudsman office, the girl I was replacing called and wanted her job back so they gave it to her. And now I am here in the Office of Sponsered Research. I've been here for almost 9 months already (wow 9 months? is that right?) the nice part about this office is that everyone already knew me when I got here cause my sister is one of the administrative secretaries under this "umbrella". it's a great job regular hours, weekends off, holidays, (I had forgotten that holidays existed). So all and all it's been a good year. who knows maybe I'll post again in another year or so.
