Working 'Logisitcs' during the holidays, fucking blows. 13 hour days, Monday through Friday and on Sundays? I too would like to join the thousands of my fellow men who all mutually agree that a hard, swift kick to the face should go to the person who decided the 'work' week was to be 5 out of 7 days...how is that shit equality? Ok - maybe that was a bit harsh but then again - so is my current work schedule.
Why am I complaining anyway? MOST people are finding it tough to even land a job. I am one of the more fortunate. Logistics/Customer Service Representative by day, Cake Maker/Dessert Extraordinaire by night AND weekends and pretty soon...I can add _______________ to the list. Shhh....it's a secret. In due time,
It's been a while since my last post. I wanted to make a conscious effort to post more often than once every (few) year(s). I guess we don't always get what we want. I have plenty to look forward to these days. That's what my fortune cookie told me a while ago. And, I believe it. Why? Well because in all reality, it's true - I find myself very happy these days. I'm still not settling, BUT I am content and it feels amazing.
There are a few things on my mind...some I want to dabble in, and some, I think dabbling in might not be such a great idea. Still my mind wanders. That's all for now. I'm physically drained and require sleep. Vague, I know. Perhaps I may decide to 'dabble' in those 'things' on my mind later =)
