SO COLD SO COLD AAAAAAGH
... had to get that out of my system. Hem. I just got back to Nagoya ($11 for a two-hour luggage-hauling multiple train journey because the 45-min taxi is $160! and I didn't even get champagne with my drive on the way in!!) and I'm now sitting with my breath steaming in my apartment, speeding up my heater with the power of my mind.
Behold! It is orange now.
My room is still neat as a pin after my pre-departure cleanup ... have to see how soon I can fix that, muahaha!
Can you tell I'm trying to type things to warm up my fingers? Heh heh. ;) I still haven't written anything beyond musing notes (thought I might try during one of my airport waits, but I was too groggy) but I've had all kinds of thoughts for weeks and I'm quite excited by them, so patience, yes, that's the key.
Oh, and before I forget - I saw what I soon realised was the filmificifiation of Susan Cooper's 'The Dark Is Rising' on the plane! Didn't realise they were making that! Have to say I actually found Will and his family objectionable, and certain clumsy add-ins to the storyline were lame and unnecessary, but I thought the Old Ones were terrific and the special effects just made the lot. Genuinely creepy as opposed to woogywoogy black clouds et al. I recommends it to fellow Susan Cooper fans :)
