I LOVE Sir Ian McKellen XD;;

<3

I found this by accident today. If you've never watched the BBC show 'Extras', you need to find it.

Then I found this:

:D

... which is somehow funny without ever having watched an episode of Star Trek. (I did see one of the really old ones once with Captain Kirk. He was wrestling a styrofoam dinosaur. <3 ( Read more... )

I've always been quite fond of Orlando Bloom, but somehow never actually had a crush on him (really!), despite being in middle school when he became famous and watching practically all his movies (though not on his account). I was actually the first person I know who actually even heard of him - I was very, very obsessed with The Lord of the Rings around fifth grade, and spent computer lessons at school learning the cast list of the movie off by heart. I never thought of him as especially fanciable, and I was quite shocked to discover around grade seven or eight that every single girl in my grade seemed to be hopelessly in lust with him. :P And I agree that he's not a particularly good actor, but he just seems to project this air of likability. From what I've heard, he seems... normal.

I've only seen a few episodes of Star Trek, but I like what I have seen. Someday I'm going to have to watch all the episodes of The Next Generation.

I also discovered sci-fi relatively late (okay, late relative to the rest of the genres I read. Which would be about twelve, thirteen or so. ^_^). It was Asimov who changed my mind - either I, Robot or his first Foundation trilogy - he just blew my mind. His early work is amazing.
