Oh, hell. I'm still getting the hang of these lj markups, and I'm still screwing up where the hyphens are and where they're not. And I see no way to edit a comment.
There is no way to edit comments, unfortunately. I think it's so angsty twits with short fuses can't flame on communities and then edit what they said when they're threatened with kick-age. But then I'm a cynical hag.
Ahh, he should be pretty easy since he's so new ;D
a) Actually I was given a request with Tintauri - he didn't grow 'organically', so to speak. XD Cecily mentioned a certain weak spot for albino characters (I'm rather fond of white and/or silver hair myself) and we'd had a discussion about his particular profession a bit before that, so I mixed the two together and ended up with him. I also tried to make him freaky and creepy just as a bit of a change from the norm. Well, I don't exactly know what the norm is, but it's not freaky and creepy.
b) Hmm. Early days yet, but I get the feeling he believes strongly in obligation and fulfilling your debts/duties, hence his reaction when Pallena saw her dead liegemen.
c) Death means nothing to him. People who die are like all the flies who've died before them.
d) Still difficult. I want to do 'insane but not raving', and 'callous-cold but not malevolent', neither of which I'm terribly good at. (I got one commenter saying he came across as camp XD;;)
Is this something that afflicts people with white/silver hair? c) sounds like my Nali - *points to icon* - and, well...she's pretty mad :S (Thankfully, she's not very demanding story-wise - yet XD)
Is Tintauri's story somewhere? He sounds interesting - but he'd better not break that dam that's keeping those two *icon* on the other side. *glare*
Nali? Don't think I've met her yet, have I? I have been wondering who the two in the icon are, though. ;)
And yes, Tintauri is on my Elfwood page here - The Queen's Man. I wrote the story for saltnester as a thank-you for some fabby Acarthian sketches she randomly decided to do. She also went and drew an illustration for the story (which is where this icon comes from, actually), so I was rather chuffed.

So I look kind of dumb. Not the first time.
