I am a sad loser. So far I love my translation class, even as the steam wafts gently off my simmering brain.

Ah, but lying is also a survival skill, like non-poisonous bugs with scarlet shells and whatnot. Dark Elven abstraction is quite limited (metaphors often annoy Schiri), but I've always figured them capable of lying. Probably something like the same reason that lets them have some kind of social structure (however tenuous) rather than everything just being a complete 'who-can-does' free-for-all.

Fascinating. I am sure this manner of mental application would prove useful indeed, were Paladins geometric figures and my enemies currently assembled by cyphers of colour.
