Mappiness

I finally found a fractal generator! Eureka! And it's a goodie - instead of just generating random terrains and expecting you to settle for something -similar- to what you want, you can edit the physical features, change the climate in certain areas, generate rivers/rainfall and ... urm ... everything.

So I've made a map of Inyaron as per sharaith-petal's request.

If you're interested in such fractal thingies, Fractal Terrains Pro lets you download a blissfully small (if only by comparison to others ...) program and trial it for 14 days. You need to do screen captures with Alt-Print Screen, though, because their export picture size is tiny.

Also, if you like to drool randomly over things you can't possibly afford, like I do, WorldBuilder renders stills AND movies of trees, landscapes, buildings and water, and is unfairly gorgeous *sigh*.

Happy Easter Fridayness ^_^
