Crazy Weekend
Ok, so my week was not a great one last week, but the weekend made up for it. Friday night I went to a formal for the frat, Theta Xi, with my buddy Alex from the music department. I started getting ready at about 4:30ish, because that's when some of my girls that were going were getting ready. I swear I must do something wrong when getting ready because it usually never takes me as long as everyone else to get ready. LOL! Anyways, we got all beautified and went over to where the guys were. I walked into Alex's room and he walked over to his desk and got me flowers. I was the only girl that got flowers!! Alex knows how to do it right! ;-) Then we all piled into several cars and went to VIlla Rosa for dinner. It was excellent! I ended up getting chicken and shrimp parmigiana. It was yummy!! Then we all came back, changed and chilled in West (the guys dorms) and pre-gamed. Then we went to someone's house and had lots of fun there. It was crazy but great. I came back to my dorm and just chilled and talked to people and finally passed out at about 7:30.....LOL!!! Saturday I would've slept all day til dinner, but I had rehearsal for the Lessons and Carols concert from 3-6. BLAH!!! But then after that was over, I got together with a bunch of girls and we went to Macaroni Grill to celebrate Kenzy's birthday. After some confusion and whatnot, we were all able to squeeze together at one table. Then we headed to Kenzy's house and did some pre-gaming there. We had fun just chillin and hangin out and sharing some good laughs. Then we all headed out and went to the baseball house. That place was CRAZY!!! There were so many people there. It got a lil frustrating at times that there were so many people, but whatcha gonna do? Then I came back to the dorms with some of the girls. I got to yell at 2 people that I had just met that night cuz they misplaced Kenzy's keys, preventing us from going back to her house and they weren't helping in any kinda way to find them. That night I ended up passing out at about 4-4:30ish. Then last night was the Lessons and Carols and that went well. I went to bed at 1:30.....normal for me and had a hell of a time getting up this morning and staying awake in my first class. Needless to say, while I had fun this weekend, there is a lack of sleep that is catching up with me. Sometimes I wonder if God forgot to give me a brain.....I don't always do the smartest thing.....and being a voice major staying up really late every night with voice juries in just a few days, yeah, God definitely forgot to give me a brain. Or He took it for the weekend to improve it and just forgot to give it back.....yeah, so anyways....lack of sleep, sore, scratchy throat, juries on Thursday; I think I'll be chillin a lot this week.....K, enough of my rambling.....
