I loved this! The slight AU nature of it, and the way Stiles' curiosity was strong enough to help Derek. And Derek just moving in cuz, well, that's what he does.

Stiles' is such a softie in such an awesome way. I feel like he's the type of kid that was constantly bringing home feral strays and going, "no really, he's really nice, he's just scared right now."

I really don't understand why Derek wasn't living in Stiles' room the entire season. Hunters fucking up your condemned home? Hey, maybe it'd be a smart idea to move into the Sheriff's house, especially since he's always out looking for you.
