OMG it's almost here..
Man it came here quick.. It's almost summer and I am not feeling the pressure, anxiety and excitement.. With finals this coming week.. i feel pressed with time since i need to memorize a bunch of shit for Philosophy and History T_T! On top of that.. I have to memorize my sales talk which i'm not even halfway through T_T.. This summer i will be flying to Nashville, Tennesse then driving to Nebraska or Missouri to sell books door to door through the Southwestern summer internship program.. What it is, is a company that's been around for more than 150 years using college students to sell their products door to door.. Why would I do this? I don't know LOL.. actually, i'm doing this for a couple of reasons:
1. The potential to earn as much as I can if i work hard enough. My best friend who did nothing special but work her butt off earned a total of 11k last summer in 11 weeks. The top 1st year student earned over 20k. Summer expenses come up to 2500 which meant my friend took home $8,500.. Who else do you know that can make that much in 3 months?
2. I wana lose weight. During the summer I would have to endure walking around or biking around for more than 8 hours in the summer heat. I would return home burnt as hell from baking in the sun but it'll be worth it since I'd get rid of all the weight I've gained from sitting around like a spud and not taking care of my self. Plus, getting a tan wudn't be so bad.. atm, I can blind someone with the paleness of my legs lol
3. Third reason is more personal. I've been sheltered my whole life and I feel like I've never really done anything to push myself. So, this internship gives me the opportunity to fall flat on my face lol.. I wana see what i can do..
Anyhoo.. 3 weeks count down..
Goal:
1. Study hard for finals
2. get hik to 56
3. Know sales talk by friday June 9th
