Yesterday was a good day
So earlier I had to rant about the reason for my drop in sales last month. I'm over it. I can't change the past. I'll just find more reliable staff members.
Anyways, yesterday was a great day. I wake up to having the chance to play with my favorite subbie in the whole wide. That made me happy. I miss getting to play with this subbie on a regular basis. We went from the session to lunch and got to catch up on what all is going on in our worlds. I miss talking to this person regularly, too. This person is amazing.
From there back to my home, the dungeon where I have a discussion that was much needed with the girl. I finally threw my cards out on the table and got some stuff resolved in my mind. Then it was time to leave my headaches behind.
Mistress Layla stopped by and we hung out for a little while. We made a deal that neither one of us could get into an unhealthy dating/relationship situation without the other calling it out and the one in jeopardy facing consequences. I think that is good for both of us. We've both had our share of unhealthy situations that we would not face alone. Its good to have someone to keep me in check, especially with my tendancy to date high drama bi girls.
From there, I took a friend of mine a belated birthday gift for her daughter. She loved it. I'm glad. The kid means a lot to me. So then, I kidnap this friend from her work and head to the Masquerade. I had the best time. We hung out with the guys from Last Dance and had a blast. One of them has the greatest nails. WOW! I had so much fun. I will actually be hanging out with the same group tonight. I have been asked to take pictures for them. I can't wait. If tonight is half as much fun as last night, I'll have a great big smile on my face.
Its really nice to go out, have fun, and ignore your problems for a while. I really needed that.
