I've gotta blog about this because it's been bugging me for quite awhile.
Eversince someone PM-ed me on LD in search of my best friend,
fairyjuice, I've been calling her since. The first day I called using my office phone, she picked up but didn't utter a word. Then, she hung up. Eversince then, she hasn't been picking up at all. No replies to SMSes as well.
We were scheduled to meet during April, but she cancelled our appointment last minute saying she forgot she had classes that night. I replied to her email then, but got no replies back. Eversince then, I became busy with work & I rarely contact her.
So, that's the end of our contact since.
I'm really worried about her & have been reading so many comments on the forum regarding her owing them their spree items.
It happened once before a few years back, but at that point of time, we were still in contact & forever chatting on MSN. I knew she had difficulty juggling between work & school, & it was taking a toll on her. However, I've got no idea how to defend her now. I can only read, but I can't comment because I don't know what's happening to her.
I sent her a 3-page long SMS to her just now asking her where is she & whether things are fine for her. I also stated how I really felt about her disappearance. She just semmed to have vanished from the face of earth. Read on the forum that she's been rather active no ANOTHER forum instead & her last login date was 12 May 2008.
I'm extremely disappointed with her for the fact that she can just forgo our friendship just like that. I can't imagine not picking up any of my best friends' calls or ignoring their SMSes. I will never treat any of my best friends that way.
I guess this is what our friendship means to her then. So much for being best friends eh? It really saddens me...
I really wish she's doing fine & nothing has happened to her.
If anyone's still in contact with her, do update me on her well-being. Sigh...
[updated]
Finally receive an email from her & I can heave a sigh of relief now. Well, that's after SMS-ing her a rather harsh yet emotional SMS. I'm glad, VERY glad. :)
