[SPN Fic]: The Wives of Adam - T - 1/1

A/N: This is a really weird thing for me to write for a number of reasons. A) I rarely, if ever, write het, unless it's a side-pairing; B) I really don't even like these pairings, and I especially don't like the MoM, from what we've seen of her in canon so far; C) I don't usually venture out of my gratuitous land of fluff; and D) I honest to Chuck ( Read more... )

character: adam milligan, genre: canon/minor au, word count: 1000-4999, fandom: supernatural, character: sam winchester, fanfiction: oneshot, fanfiction, genre: het, character: dean winchester

Psst, you may duck less trash if you amend Jewish 'myth' to 'theology' as a precaution of respect. ;]

I love this idea, though that Adam was just a reincarnation of the first Adam. Therefore, in the context of the first Adam's wives, these pairings make complete sense. Lilith was fierce here, but I have to admit I enjoyed Eve even more with her cooing rib-gouging finesse.

I did facepalm when the Show came out and named Mother 'Eve' (great subtlety, Show, she was tempted by the serpent and was the catalyst of original sin), but if they're making her the Eve, I'd like to see them do more with the original creation story and callbacks to Eden.

We could say that you're demonstrating great discipleship of Show buy continuing the tradition of Adam, ye half-brother who couldn't catch a break even after he was saved from Hell, and considering how it ended, what was the point, universe? ;D Somebody lock this kid in an angelproof Heaven of isolation.

See, that's what happens when I use only wiki to research about stuff I don't know (it labels Lilith as a part of Jewish myth, for whatever reason). Oh well, I fixed it. It's a good thing I was too lazy to x-post yesterday, so hopefully no one read and felt offended. :O ( ... )

Your blog looks nice, even so it would be far better if you’ll be able to use lighter colors too as a professional design. This will make sure that a lot more readers come to check it out.Informative post by the way!

Thank you. I'll keep that in mind. The pink I have now is actually a lot lighter than the dark, eerier colors I used to have before, but I do like pastels and I'll consider options when I change. I don't really know if my fanfic posting blog counts as something that requires professionalism, though, lol.
