Updates and Other Things...

...well the Wedding came and went beautifully. Better than I expected and i was even surprised by the doves my Wedding Planner procured for us. Monterey and Pismo were beautiful and very nice change of pace. I really DID NOT want to come back.

Saturday: Thank you to all who came I hope you had as good a time as Kerri and I did, we're glad you could share our perfect day with us. After the festivities Kerri and I headed to our Casita and found it romantically lit up with candles and about 10 lbs od rose petals strewn about the casita and in the shape of a heart on the bed, accented with our Bride and Groom Teddy Bears we got a couple weeks ago and tulle in burgandy and white and a string of heart-shaped lights across the headboard. There was also a bottle of champagne that we drank most of. Kerri and I were so tired from the days activity that we got comfortable and started watching the end of Back to the Future and the beginning of The Princess Bride and we both passed out and woke at 3 am and went to the bed and woke around 9 am had some breakfast at the kitchen with my mom and dad who had also stayed that night.

Sunday: After that Kerri and I packed up our stuff in his car and went to the Marriott Desert Springs to pick up our rental which turned out to be an '06 Audi A4. Headed to the apt. to get our other bags we had packed and headed on our way to our first stop Pismo Beach. 5 hours later we finally arrive check in and have a bite to eat at this great lil Italian place, came highly recommended by the gal at check in.

Monday: We headed to Hearst Castle, which I highly recommend going to if your ever in that vicinity, and continue on to Monterey. Well the fog rolled in so we made most of our trip on the 1 in fog and rain, it was still a gorgeous site once I got past the queasiness of the winding road. Got to our destination and relaxed in the room for a bit before heading out to eat.

Tuesday: We spent walking up and down Cannery Row shopping and taking pictures of the seals at the Stanford Marine Refuge, weather was sunny but a bit chilly after a few hours of it I was doing all right Kerri had to buy a hoodie for himself though. We had luch at Chipotle, I tell you half of my burrito kicked my ass I couldn't eat it all. After our shopping we did a lil' driving and were just in time to catch a breathtaking sunset off of Senset Ave. which ran right along the beach, parked like everyone else did and enjoyed it together getting some awesom photos. Then we headed to a restaurant we had seen earlier on Cannery Row called Fishhopper, awesome Clam Chowder by the way, had a wonderful dinner and headed back to the room for some romantic fireplace watching and cuddling.

Wednesday: We went to Monterey Bay Aquarium, very cool again highly recomend it if your ever there. Got to watch the Sea Otters, my favorite, eat and play. Checked all everything we possibly could. Even spent a good amount of time watched the different fish in the Outer Swimmers tank, including a Great White Shark; Sea Turtle; and an Ocean Sunfish, if you haven't seen one these things are freakin' ginormous and very odd looking. After checking out everything they had to offer we left discussing which exhibits were our favorites and what not and we headed over to Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. and had a filling lunch and did some more shopping along Cannery Row and headed back to the room, I ended up falling asleep all snuggled against Kerri for a couple of hours. We couldn't agree on a good place to eat for dinner so we headed to Denny's.

Thursday: We woke up early so we could check out Fisherman's Wharf before we said goodbye to Monterey. Walked around there for a bit got some great pictures from the observation deck and watched the seals make noise and play in and around the debris they set out in the harbor for them. Finally got in the Audi and headed to Pismo Beach for our last night of our Honeymoon. Got there around 2 or 3 in the afternoon checked in and got a couple of local maps to find a beach to wander along. We headed to Avila Beach, nice and quiet, though it helped that it wasn't really beach season, anyway we strolled aong the beach taking pictures and discussing various things and goings on, wound up getting some gelato at a lil' cafe along the Avila Beach boardwalk. Headed back to the room for a bit and Kerri fell asleep while I watched tv and we headed back to Del's Pizzaria for Ravioli and Pizza, yummy.

Friday: Once again our longest driving day, we left about 10 am and made a stop in Long Beach to streach our legs a bit. Then made the last leg of our road trip hitting some bad traffic in the 91 and 60. Finally got home and settled down around 7:45 pm and just relaxed the rest of the evening before hitting the sack early since we both had to work at 10 am the the next day.

All and all the Wedding was everything I expected and more and I hope everyone else had as grand a time as we did. Again thanks to all of those in attendance we are so happy and greatful you were there to celebrate with us. Now on with the real reason I started posting this.

Anyway, well I hope you enjoyed this long awaited and highly anticipated update. I'm gonna get going, my eyes are tired fo staring at a computer screen, think I will watch Adam play some Guitar Hero II and head to bed so I don't sleep in too late and totally miss out on my friend and co-workers Thanksgiving feast she invited Kerri and I too in Yucca Valley.

Ciao,
Kitti

People view you as a Loner Artist. Loner Aritist
are exactly as their title says, loners and
artist. Now you are not alone by choice but
many people find you odd. This only bothers you
when you're in a public place like a dance club
