Randomness

It's been raining freezing rain the last two days and it icy roads claimed a victim, my car, which, unfortunately for it, was on the road with my behind the wheel at the exact moment that it switched from rain to ice. I'm fine and the accident was ruled most defitaly not my fault by everyone who had a chance to investigate the bridge i went sliding across (fortunately i didn't go off the side) these people included several neighbors and two police officers who came out to "control traffic" until they towed my car and sanded the bridge, not that there was actually any traffic, on the nearly abandon back road. Oh and i'd like to thank our neighbors who dad calls "the professors" (makes sense since both husband and wife are collage professors) who drove past me while i was walking in the freezing rain, and this was after they drove past my car. Cell phones do little good in the valley and it was a half mile walk to the nearest neighbor. Dad thinks he can fix it, so it might not be curtains for my car just yet.

All my tests for my stomach have come back negative and the doctors didn't know what else to try so my mom was talking to her chiropractor who said that adjusting my back might actually help. I was skeptical until i was sitting in the office and she explained that the nerves that control the stomach connect to the spinal cord between the shoulder blades which is where I've been having back pain... i hadn't mentioned that to her either. so she poked and prodded and adjusted and i'm going in next week too. I consider it a good sign that the stomach ache i had went in went in was gone by the end of the session even if it did come back later. She said it will take time. Which makes sense, considering I’ve had trouble with my stomach on and off since i was in kindergarten.

The plan was to go to the doctor yesterday and get put on a LOA from work until i get my stomach problems sorted out or at least improved, unfortunately i didn't make it there (see the first paragraph.) so i have to work yet this weekend, which is ok i guess, it would be pretty nasty of me to ditch them on Christmas weekend, i just home i make it through the weekend ok.
