(no subject)
TNG marathon on G4. Yay! Kevin headed over to the dorms to find some of his friends, Ky just went off somewhere with her boyfriend, and I have the apartment to my self. At the moment I’ve got the big padded storage ottoman pushed up against the couch, and I’m laying, half on it and half on the couch. Kevin was doing that earlier, and it works pretty good, like laying on the floor on your stomach, only more comfortable. I’m watching TNG (What else). My computer is half way across the room, and I have the screen magnifier taking up a third of the screen so I can see what I’m doing; I have the keyboard and the mouse on the ottoman with me, its all most as good as using Kevin’s laptop (which I told him I’d stop doing once we were here and my desktop was in the living room.
Kevin’s car had some issuers, one of his tires went and the force of the bumper landing on the segment barrier was enough to make the bumper’s shell fall off. Mom and dad came up today so dad could fix the bumper and put a spare tire on, and we made them dinner. (well Kevin made them dinner. When he needed help he asked mom because he didn’t trust me. :p)
Tomorrow I’m going to go home after class and pick up some things I forgot.
I’m doing laundry right now. Our apartment has it own washer and drier. Kevin says its not necessarily a good thing because the increase in the utilities is sometimes more than the cost of using a laundry mat, but I don’t care, I’ll pay a bit more for the convenience. And the drier is so quite that you can’t even here it.
