exhaustion.
I am completely and utterly exhausted.. but I am awake, and my mind is still functioning.. so I thought I might write. I just got home from our new apartment. I made two full car load trips with boxes of books and clothes from my room that needed to go up to our second floor place. It could have been easier probably, but I really love my books. I have multiple boxes full of them. I also built a tall bookcase today so that I can start unpacking my books tomorrow after we get in my bed and other furniture. I think that I will love it.. :) I just hope that 5 shelves will be enough. we'll see..
so.. My friend is back in the states after well.. spending most of the last 5 years abroad in Germany, Austria & Japan. He was a Euglo at Heidelberg, and although he graduated after my freshman year we have kept in contact. I think it helped that he graduated HS from the next school district over, so when he was in town for a few days for holidays or what not it was pretty easy to get together. Maybe we would have found time either way? i could not say. At this point we've seen each other maybe 2-3 times a year or so for the past 5 years. It was always great. We have excellent conversation.. He is a beautiful person. He is pretty cute as well.. but I never thought about him in a dating sense because he was my sister's love.. and you don't screw with that. And then we hung out while I was home this last time for three days, and by the evening of the third day I did. So now I do. .. and he is coming to visit Friday, so we'll have to see how things go from there. I am pretty unbelievably excited. which may be an understatement.
