Love your comments about Guy and Marian in this fic; this is exactly how I see them and their relationship. As for RA's idea for a G/M marriage in S3 -- well, I'm sure he didn't envision the whole gang being killed! :D There are actually a couple of excellent but still-unfinished fics dealing with a scenario in which Marian marries Guy "for the cause" in late S2 -- An Exchange of Vows by vividviolet83 and Most Unwanted by hulamoth. I know hulamoth is definitely planning to finish her story, don't know about vividviolet83 -- she hasn't updated since last January, but then again she's had 5 months between updates before that. So I'm not abandoning hope. :)
I do like the fact that you addressed the history of Prince John ACTUALLY becoming King.
