New Project Updates
I've found myself wanting to put out a newer collection of items to put up on my Etsy and lately I have been wanting to go the route of pastels.
I have some mint fabric that is currently cut out to be geared towards a jsk that will have a bustle back made from the same fabric. The jsk will be made into a halter style jsk that will have removable halter straps and set normal straps. I will be looking from some mint lace from Joanns to accent the bodice area and the ruffles of the dress. If I am able to find any pink in the same weight of the mint fabric I will also be doing a mint/pink dress.
My current fabric search is for some yellow fabric to make a yellow and pink jsk much. I am hoping to make all major components in yellow and add the pink as accent color through the usuage of pink lace trim. Pink is a popular color within the sweet lolita genre and I don't want that to over power the softness of the yellow too much. I am hoping to make the bodice area much like this one which was made by sweet_like_you
I have always been a fan of sax and pink ever since seeing some of the creations put out by angelic pretty which this color combination. The main color would be sax with accents of pink in the form of ruffles at the bottom, the bows on the bodice and waist, adn trim. If I am able to achieve a look I like I will more than likely keep the dress myself. I would like my dress to be something like this but in a solid color:
Lavender, I thought I would never want to do a lavender dress but the color has won me over.
I will also be working with a wonderful artist by the name of reynanana for some prints on cutsews and dresses that would exclusive to the Lady Kana line.
