started getting sick about a week ago...only a cold, though, no big deal. but, since my immune system was already down, i caught the flu. it's impossible for me to be sick with only one thing! didn't know i had the flu, so i spent the night at marty's, only to wake up at 2am and throw up in his bathroom. called jay at 430, when i was scheduled to work, to tell him i'd been throwing up all morning and probably shouldn't come into work. what does he do? make me come into work. that's right, people, i was throwing up and my boss still made me come into work at 430 in the f*ing morning. he let me off at 6am, when pascal got there, but only because i was going to the bathroom every 15 minutes to throw up.

so, went home, spent the entire day snuggling with a bottle of vernors and a bottle of gatorade, waking up every now and then because my throat hurt so bad. i'm not nauseous anymore today, which is a very good thing, but i can hardly swallow because my throat hurts. i don't think it's strep again, because i had it over the summer, and it doesn't feel the same. i have a cough now, and i don't have a fever...so i think it's just so swollen it hurts.

ick. supposed to go to denver this weekend, too.

now i'm going to get my sick ass out of bed and shower, because i haven't in 2 days, and i've been having hot and cold flashes all night. then, some tea and honey for the throat.
