read it in one day. truly, an amazing book.
Told by an outsider [Daria].
Set in richness [the OC].
About high school and relationships [Dawson's Creek].
the girl, Lee--from Indiana--decides to go to a boarding school on the east coast. she was a star student in her school at home, only to become a 'peripheral,' as she calls it, at the boarding school.
slightly melodramatic, but very real...almost like an autobiography. absolutely amazing. these passages just strike home--even if they don't directly apply to you. i've never had a book speak to me as this one has. the author has a way of capturing your attention and not letting go--not in an action packed way, but in a more subtle way...by making Lee's life so intriguing and so relatable, that you simply can't put the book down. it's a diary, without being a diary. there are no other words to explain.
everyone should read it:)
p.s. maybe i should go to work for a publisher, or something.
