(no subject)
I'm watching FOTR and getting all nostalgic. FOTR for anyone who doesn't know stands for Fellowship of the Ring and I think it's my favourite film from the Lord of the Rings trilogy. I was watching the extras a couple of nights ago and I'd forgotten how much I loved all the boys!
Work was so incredibly busy this week but saying that I didn't manage to get a lot done. Most of it was spent in meetings with clients and I spent yesterday in court (and didn't get the result I was hoping for). My boss is currently in New York and is officially a workaholic. He phoned Fiona sitting on the plane at Heathrow and phoned again today. His wife must be very understanding.
I didn't hear about my job this week - the partners couldn't come to a decision. So I'll hear on 24th July. Well tough, by then I may have found something else!
I've got a very busy weekend coming up. I'm off to a Hen Night tomorrow which will be great and then I'm off to a wedding on Sunday! I'm taking Monday off work to recover! The wedding ceremony is actually at 1.15pm so goodness knows what we're going to do for the rest of the day. Drink probably!
I've then got the wedding I'm going to the Hen Night for next weekend (don't know if that makes sense but it gives you the jist!). It should be really good.
But the hen night means I miss Doctor Who finale. Fiona is hopefully taping it and it better work!
Gordon is out tonight so I'm indulging myself. I've got some lovely brie and biscuits to eat. Mmmmm.
