Flippin' Hell...
WTF... Last year, Ricky got busted for taking a knife / fork set (boyscout style set, spoon was missing) to school. He got suspended for 2 weeks. He was punished and swore to never do something like that again.
I got a call today, Ricky decided to take a cheese knife to school. When he got home and his dad called me & put Ricky on the phone, he told me what he did, and I said that I would be right over. He hung up and told his dads that I was coming over to beat him with a huge board that had rusty nails sticking out of it.
*Huh? When did I say that?!?*
His reason for taking the knife to school? He had been looking at it the night before and it 'somehow' got put into his book bag 'because it was pretty.'
*headdesk*
He is now suspended from school for 10 days, & no TV, computer, video games, or play-dates for a month. He got paddled, laughed at us, and then we brought out a cane. He quit laughing. I explained to him that we would keep trying different things to figure out what works.
