OMG
I am so excited that I am shaking!!! My dad works at a BP gas station on weekends. They were having a drawing and he only entered because of me. Partly because he knew I would disown him if he didn't at least enter. ;) There were only 5 people in the drawing (frankly that REALLY surprises me). So, My dad won the drawing!
Now for the revealing of the prize.
2 TICKETS TO THE BIG 12 CHAMPIONSHIP FOOTBALL GAME!!!
The rules were that you had to go. You couldn't sell them, or give them away. My dad is not a sports person. Like I mentioned he only entered becuase he knew I would want to go. So, he is going to his first big football game. He is either going to be really bored or really interested in people watching. The game is in Kansas City, Mo at Arrowhead Stadium where the Chiefs play. It is a 3 hour drive from Omaha. It is a night game so, we will be getting back really late/early Sunday morning. It will be so worth it even if we lose. Although I think we have a good chance to win!
We will either be playing Texas or Oklahoma. Our Opponet will be decided this Saturday.
I am still in shock and find it all surreal! The funny thing is, not long ago we went out for Chinese food and the fortune in my cookie said your sports team will be really successful. How freaky is that?!!!
I want to make one of those fleece blankets that have the fringed and the tied corners using Husker fleece to take with me. I found some of those hand warmer packets in my night stand drawer last Saturday too. I wish I knew what was allowed to be brought into the stadium.
Yes, I know the Brontewhore now thinks I am completely insane, if she hadn't thought that already. If it is any consolation though, I did not vote for Hineman for govenor I voted for the other guy. See, I was trying to get you a new boss.
I have many other things to post about, but I will save those for another time. That is if I can remember them.
