(no subject)
today was awesome because:
--i went to a school where the teachers and students are awesome
--it was my second time there, so we could spend the full time on the lesson instead of my self-introduction
--i got to play "cat's cradle" with my kids during recess (which was the first time in... i have no idea how many years!)
--at lunch i talked to the students about manga, and i knew all of the ones they were talking about
--i got to play flute/piano duets with the music teacher after lunch since i had no more classes : ) the special ed girl came in to listen and she was sooo cute! she even said "thank you" to me in english!
even though i'm sick of going to elementary schools (mostly because it means i'm scheduled to work at a different school every day and only meet the kids and teachers once) sometimes it's really fun!
p.s. i'll put up my rant entry again... un-edited as requested. i was going to edit for messiness and repetitiveness and such... but i'm too lazy! gomen, ne?
