This fic has a really fun flow for me. Something about the way things come up but deflect away before the boys can say what they need to say.

Hmmm.
I like hooker!Clark and how he's so hurt between whatever happened between him and Lex that he can't even say Lex's name. I realize he would not want to say LEX LUTHOR because who doesn't know LL, right? But he could call him "Alexander" or "my friend". I also like to think that Lex is looking for Clark...that makes me sad and happy all at once.
Also, I LOVE Adam. Adam is so lost between his past self and the self he wants to be (and maybe doesn't know yet), he's like a stray puppy that Clark brought in. He's not quite innocent but not experienced enough to be jaded.
It's warm and it's safe and Adam doesn’t dream again that night.That's Clark for you, a wall of safe. I like to think that Lex is the same for Clark but without Lex, Clark can't help but be strong for others ( ... )

Never. It really helps me as a writer to know what came across like I wanted it too and what was a miss.

I think one of the trickiest things for me with this fic is keeping Adam from being a replacement-Lex, to let Clark feel for Adam what he feels without the projection of Lex overshadowing him.

And yeah, Adam's got issues. I don't think he could even imagine where he'd have ended up if someone like Clark hadn't found him.

I'm really glad you're enjoying it. And never worry about giving too much feedback, or pointing out something you didn't like. In the past, I have read a fandom, liked the quality of fics and the feedback people in it were giving, and wrote fic for it (I did enjoy the fandom, but I also wanted to improve my writing). Concrit gooood.

I missed this when you first put it up. I enjoyed reading it a lot. Poor Clark, talking about "this guy." I like the way he's taking care of Adam.

Glad you like it. Adam's so very confused about himself right now.

Hopefully next chapter will get a little more into Clark and how he got there.
