Your Sean is adorable! *big grin*

he doesn't have to prove himself here, and trying too hard to be perfect is hurting his progression instead of helping.

And Sean's stomach sinks because he knows this isn't the time to start something new and he should have waited until he was between projects so he could dedicate the time a relationship needs to it.

Sean stumbles out an agreement, feeling the least charming he's been since puberty.

^ These are all great insights into different aspects of his character.

And methinks Dave isn't going to waste much time going in for the kill. Heh.

BTW, can I borrow some of your productivity? It's takes me *forever* to write anything, and then I'm totally zapped!

Heh. Glad you like him. Sometimes it's trickier for an actor to not have a character to hide behind. I imagine him feeling a little vulnerable walking around with his own personality showing.

Because "I'll cook" means "Lets have sex, and I'll cater?" (Coupling britcom quote)

Re: productivity--I've got a job that requires hand-brains but not word-brains. So I write all day in my head. I come home and type it out, then usually go on a four mile walk. When I get home I've got more in my head so I type that out too. The only bad thing that happens sometimes is I have more words than my brain can hold and I lose interest in something before I put it onto some other form of storage.

If I have a day off and I don't go out, I just putz around the internet all day and don't get a damn thing written. I've gotta be out of the house to get stuff done.

^ I think so, too. For some reason my instincts tell me this is especially true in Sean's case.

^ That's it exactly, babe! ;)

^ Having scraps of stuff all over is a problem of mine as well. I have many notebooks filled with scribbled scenes and ideas that never went anywhere, and likely never will.

BTW, just so you know, if you don't finish LAYB, I will hunt you down and give you an atomic wedgie.

So don't let the cute, fluffy men distract you too much! ;p

Nope nope. The fluff is just like a pressure valve when the other gets too serious. Wrote 350 words of layb last night, and none of the dave/sean saga. this is gonna be one of the longets Layb chapters so far, and hopefully the most intense of the entire story.
