OK so it's about time for me to face it: today is the worst day in the history of work ever. Endless crap to take care of, still haven't been paid, have been on hold with my boss for approximately half an hour. My neck hurts. So basically here is the deal--I need entertainment. Humorous pictures. Cheerful chatter. GOD ANYTHING ANYTHING WILL DO ( Read more... )

1. Tattoo = cool. I got one about 2 weeks ago, and I love it. I think I'd advise against words b/c my friend's boyfriend has "fuck you" tattooed on his leg and is no longer pleased with it.
2. anything Jared I approve of.
4. I was watching the Discovery channel last night and there was a show about a doctor making a "Scale of Evil" and he was analyzing various psychopaths/killers/pathological liars/etc and why killers become killers. V. interesting stuff.
5. I concur.
6. also sucky. But I've had it all my life, it's an extension of the lack of artistic talent for me.
7. my friend Dave (whose real name is jennifer) has an awesome comeback for "your mom" jokes. "Hey, can we get off of my mom, b/c I got off of yours" or something like that. It kind of loses something when you just write it down.
8. Currently, I love aforementioned friend Dave b/c she gave me copies of SPN (she calls it SPooN) so I may watch it whenever I please.
9. I'm writing this comment! obviously. Well, and taking a break from editing drawings of crane parts in AutoCAD. By crane, I mean the machine type of thing, not the bird.
10. ? ::is confused::

I also hate being that person. Ofttimes I run out of things to work on, and have to go around bothering the other engineers saying "give me work to do!" but 9 times out of 10 there is nothing and they say "come back later" so I sit sadly in my cubicle and refresh my friends page hoping someone's updated so I won't be bored. And then when I do go back "later" they will still have nothing for me and I am, again, that annoying intern who is being useless. It is woeful.

In other news, my former class president has pled guilty to bank robbery.

Hello! My roommate (for this fall) also went by Dave in high school, but her real name is Jennifer, or Jen, as I call her, and she also calls SPN SPooN. I strongly suspect we know the same person! *waves*

yes, it is in fact our beloved Davie. Are you either Meera or Natasha? Or possibly Elizabeth? Not sure about that last one being the name of one of Dave's friends.

Hi! I'm Natasha! I am the fairy princess roommate! But, alas, I am leaving Dave/Jen for Japan next year. She just couldn't compete with Buddhist monks, no matter how she tried...

I have heard of thee! You live(d) around West Chester and occasionally write little notes on the letters that Dave sends me and possibly major in religious studies (but that might be Meera, who I'm assuming is liberalnun). Also, I am so jealous of the Japan thing.

Yeah! I am the Religious Studies-y person. I fear that as we drive up to Toronto next weekend, you may be forced to hear ALL about stuff like that. I can't help myself. I just love to talk about religion. And sex. But not in a creepy porn-y way. More in a discovery-channel-nerd, what-hormones-are-running, what-sexual-signals-is-an-individual-sending, what-evolutionary-purpose-does-this-serve sort of way. So religion or sex, you take your pick ;)

I am so excited about Japan too. Beyond sushi, anime, geishas, and kimonos, buddhism will be involved! (but no sex...therefore not fulfilling the other criterion of interest)

Fantasy is cool too. I write angsty fantasy of middling quality...ask DaveJen.

Natasha does interviews with most of the guys she meets, on the topic of sex. She is very special!

I am, indeed, Meera. Nice to meet you!

And girls! It just so happens that most of the girls in my group of friends at college or who I have any kind of daily contact with for the purposes of interviewing aren't sexually active or have explored their sexuality to the point allowing me access. :)

Guess what! I bought Kinsey today! YAY!

...You will always have access to me, Natasha. ;)

Yay, Kinsey!
